1-Hour Trend Traders covers the 25 most liquid pairs, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.  There's an old saying on Wall Street, "The trend is your friend," and that's even truer for forex than for stocks or bonds.  Every hour, about 2 minutes after the hour, if a trend has developed we let you know about it.  These are the only alerts recommended for inexperienced traders.

Daily Reports are designed for financial institutions, importers, exporters, anyone with exposure to foreign currency risk, as well as longer-term traders and investors.

Forex Evenings is the newest addition to the 5-MinuteForex family.  It is the first and only program designed specifically for Americans who work during the day and want to trade after work.  The structure of the forex markets has made it very difficult to be successful in that time frame.  Until now.  See the Forex Evenings page for full details.   

How they work:  All versions track various combinations of well-known indicators, like the exponential moving average (EMA), the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator, and so forth.  When a combination of indicators shows a high-probability trade on a given timeframe 5-MinuteForex sends you an email alert.   The alert shows up in your inbox a few seconds later, you take it from there.

Each 1-Hour trend alert and Forex Evenings alert includes a recommended stop-loss, first profit target, and amount to trail your stop by once the first target has been hit.  These are recommendations, they are not cast in stone, and they are not intended to serve as a substitute for your judgement as a trader.

Q: Do you at least guarantee I won't suffer losses?
A: No.  See answer #1 above.

Q:  How much money can I make trading?
A:  According to Don Bright of Bright Trading, established traders with 2+ years of experience typically make between $200,000 and $500,000 a year.  I know of one case where a trader made $5 million in one year (he wouldn't let anyone forget it).  Don's brother, Bob Bright, has made $120 million trading over the last 30 years, but he's considered one of the best traders in the world.

Q: How many alerts will I receive each day?
A: It depends on what the market is doing there is no way to know ahead of time.  One of the keys to successful trading is realizing you can't force trade opportunities to appear, you have to wait for them to show up.  Some days are very slow, some days you'll have more alerts than you can handle.

The man behind 5-MinuteForex

Michael W. Knee is the man behind 5-MinuteForex.  His experience in developing automated systems for the finance industry began in New York in the early 1980's.  In 1983, long before there was an Internet, Michael designed a system that allowed for immobilized certificates for municipal bond trading, something most experts thought was impossible at the time.  That project was a joint venture of Security Pacific Bank and Depository Trust Company.  He has also developed automated systems for Chase and Manufacturer's Hanover Trust Company, among others.

Today Michael lives in Phoenix, Arizona, where he enjoys the sunshine with his cat, a Russian Blue named Cotton Candy.
